No Judgement Zone!

I had two class experiences with my newly turned two-year-old this week that really made me stop and think, I’m so glad I seem to be surrounded by parents who “get it.”

I’m always glad to be in the company of other parents who understand that kids are all different. Parents who understand that a strong-willed child having a “moment” isn’t a reflection of the parenting or even the child. Parents and caregivers who give other parents and caregivers grace in knowing that kids, like adults, have their moments! What I also realized is that when others extend grace to you as a parent, you’re more likely to give yourself (and others) the same.

One of our core values at Little Village Play is community. The village we build and the support we provide each other is what will make our space enjoyable for kids and families. The connections we make will keep us coming back for more. Our goal is for our space to be a judgement free, come as you are, safe space for all!
